A good lip balm is essential (whatever your age) as the lips do not have oil glands to protect them, made with organic, nutrient dense oils and cocoa butter, these little balms will deliver maximum moisture to the lips when needed.
Our Vanilla Pod – Replenish Balm combines the nourishing powers of organic calendula, comfrey and marshmallow root. Calendula, is well known for its healing ability but is also full of carotenoids which help protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by the sun and our environment. Equally calendula is gentle and hydrating, so it’s great for dry, damaged, and sensitive skin. Comfrey is also healing and regenerating as well as being a very soothing herb, it has a high mucilage content and a reputation for promoting rapid skin-cell growth and contributing to skin renewal. Marshmallow root is highly emollient and has the ability to plump and soothe out fine lines.
Raspberry Seed – Active Balm on the other hand contains sesame oil, marshmallow root, red raspberry seed oil and zinc oxide (non micronised) all of which have a reputation for their sun protection prowess. Raspberry seed oil, which is also an antioxidant, will help protect from free radicals as well as contributing to skin repair and conditioning with its naturally high levels of vitamin E. Zinc Oxide on the other hand is a light reflector and in its non-nano particle form, this mineral will provide safe, broad spectrum sun protection. And, with its yummy raspberry flavour we probably don’t need to encourage you too much, to apply it little and often for maximum protection.
The citrus zing of our Lemon Balm – Protect Balm harnesses the healing and anti viral powers of Calendula, Lemon Balm and St John’s Wort. Both lemon Balm and St John’s Wort have an anti-viral reputation that sees them as effective even against the likes of herpes, cold sores and shingles, so if you want a bit of added protection on top of the moisture hit for your lips, then this is the balm for you.

This lip balm is a miracle worker. I had been riding my motorcycle around with my helmet visor open slightly and my lips got wind burnt.
